SECTION 3 EDUCATION AND TRAINING
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Housing Authority of the Birmingham District offers educational and training scholarships for its public housing residents and Section Eight participants.
CURRENTLY, WE ARE NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND. THE DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS ENDED APRIL 30, 2009

HABD owns and manages over 6,000 public housing units and administers
over 3,000 Section 8 vouchers. HABD also provides home ownership
opportunities through our Lease-Purchase Homeownership Program Section Eight Homeownership Program |
